Dr. Seuss’ birthday is on March 2nd! And who didn’t grow up reading Dr. Seuss books right?! I know we already have a few that our girls love to have read to them. I definitely need to invest in our Dr. Seuss library though. His books are just so creative and silly and fun!
So to celebrate his birthday, I thought it would be fun to make a little treat for my girls from one of Dr. Seuss’ most famous books!
Cat in the Hat Layered Jello
It really is the simplest thing, but will definitely please any child.
All you need is:
strawberry or raspberry jello
cool whip
clear cup or jar
Make the jello as instructed on the box. It takes a while to set up so make sure you start early!
When the jello is ready, spoon some into your clear jar. Then spoon some cool whip on top. And repeat to get your Cat in the Hat layers.
And done!
So easy right? So read The Cat in the Hat to your kids and then share a delicious snack! You can even go sugar free to make it a little healthier. 🙂
